AWANA Club

AWANA Club is a Christ centered program for children, our purpose is to share Jesus and help our children grow in their faith and knowledge of the Bible. Activities include:
- fun and games that relate to principals of God’s grace and Christian living
- memorization and reciting of the Bible, God’s Holy Word
- singing, testimonies, and Bible Lessons
It begins each Wednesday evening at 6:50 and ends at 8:30.
A free meal is provided to attending children at 6:10 p.m.
Van ministry/transportation is also provided free of charge.
Children are assigned to a group based on their age/school grade with a group of AWANA leaders that love our children and youth and desire to help and nurture them to grow and develop in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Letter From the Director
Hello parents/guardians,
I am so excited to begin out tenth year of AWANA here at New Town Baptist Church. It is hard to believe that we have had AWANA for a decade. We are looking forward to a year of fun and exciting things. Most importantly we are going to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with many clubbers this year. AWANA is for ages 2 years (by September 1st) to 6th grade. A wonderful meal is served each Wednesday night beginning at 6:10. Our church also offers a nursery for any who wish to attend the worship service.
I know that God has wonderful plans for all of us. I want to thank you for allowing your child to come and learn about Jesus and His love. Please feel free to come see me anytime you have questions or concerns. Our schedule of special nights is included on this web site; refer to it often so you will know when we are doing something fun and exciting. We appreciate you sharing your child with us on Wednesday nights.
